Job Description

About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Tax Analyst - Transfer Pricing In this role, you will:

  • Support the maintenance and management of a global Transfer Pricing oversight framework in collaboration with various internal stakeholders
  • Manage our regional governance framework to monitor the effective selection, implementation and documentation of Transfer Pricing policies
  • Assist with the development and design of group-wide and regional Transfer Pricing policies
  • Prepare local and regional Transfer Pricing documentation (in collaboration with local advisors where required)
  • Monitor financial data of related party transactions provided by other functional support groups
  • Attend and provide Transfer Pricing input to new initiative/product meetings, business lines and regional management meetings
  • Manage Transfer Pricing audits and questions from tax authorities, regulators and other external bodies
  • Monitor changes to global and regional Transfer Pricing regulations and perform impact assessments as appropriate.
  • Understand compliance and risk management requirements for supported area
  • Apply extensive specialized knowledge and act as internal consultant or final authority in area of expertise
  • Provide comprehensive income tax technical expertise in the research of complex issues and transactions
  • Identify opportunities requiring complex tax research, prepare memorandums and make recommendations relating to Transfer Pricing planning and strategies
  • Act as a Lead Consultant for financial accounting for Transfer Pricing and related matters
  • Direct the work of less experienced staff
  • Develop relationships with business unit leaders and enterprise staff function leaders to support their business needs and objectives and provide consultation and advice on complex Transfer Pricing issues
  • Work with stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
Required Qualifications, International:
  • Experience in Corporate Tax, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration or International Business.
  • Relevant Transfer Pricing experience
  • Excellent understanding of Transfer Pricing concepts, the OECD Transfer Pricing guidelines, Country specific Transfer Pricing regulations as well as the interaction of international guidelines and country specific rules
Desired Qualifications:
  • Financial services / banking experience preferred
