Now is an extremely exciting time to join a newly formed group within Citi. The Institutional Clients Group - Engineering and Architecture Practice (EAP) is responsible for defining and building core architecture and technology strategy for the ICG. We are looking for an experienced hands-on systems engineer to help us lead and build the next generation of data infrastructure based on federated data-mesh principles. As the lead engineer for you will play a significant role in building a DNS for addressabledata resources (think IPFS) on-premise and on the cloud. Your solutions will be leveraged by tens of thousands of developers across Citi supporting applications used by hundreds of thousands of internal and client users. You will drive, design, PoC and develop critical core components while acting as a trusted advisor to the senior management team. You will make clear, simple, and technically sound decisions while champion high standards of coding and architecture best practices. As your work will primarily be used by engineering teams across Citi, you will have a focus on what is best for developer experience in all your decision making, you must have a passion for reliability and usability of your systems.
