Spring are currently recruiting for a Lead Sitecore Developer on behalf of an exciting Digital Agency based in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a Lead Level Developer with aspirations to move in to a Technical Architect role in the future. You will be working with clients and leading an internal team of front and back end developers to deliver projects across multiple clients. The role will focus on .NET framework CMS applications (mainly Sitecore/Umbraco) hosted in AWS or Azure. Profile -Expert knowledge of C#, Razor, .NET Framework and MVCSitecore certified and experience working on Sitecore 8/9Experience with other .NET framework CMS such as Umbraco, Kentico or EpiserverExperience integrating with third partiesA good understanding of front end frameworks such as Angular, Vue or Reactdigital agency experienceExperience running an agile development team, implementing industry best practice coding standards to ensure quality, whilst delivering projects within time and budgetFamiliarity with object-oriented design and design patterns.Experience with either AWS or AzureCI/CD through dev, stage, UAT and productionAbility to estimate technical effort, licensing and hosting costs and clearly communicate them to non-technical usersAbility to plan, design and write automated tests include unit using NUnit, integrationexpertise with development methodologies such as DDD, BDD and TDDThe successful candidate will be:An excellent communicator; able to communicate technical information succinctly and meaningfully to non-technical colleagues and clientsAble to run workshops with various stakeholders to define technical requirementsAble to work as part of a team, working closely with Project Managers, Front end developers and DevOps engineersAble to plan; spotting technical risks, issues and dependencies and communicating the impact of these to the project team (with enough lead time to do something about them)a self-starter, comfortable working autonomously when needed and being proactive in getting information to move work along when neededUsed to working in an agency environment, familiar with working to budgets, schedules, completing timesheets, participating in stand-ups and providing progress updatesTechnical skills required.NET framework, MVC, C#, RazorSitecore CMS v8+ (certification would be a distinct advantage)Cloud experienceSQL serverNoSQLDevOps (CI/CD, TeamCity/Jenkins, Puppet)Docker and KubernetesTDDEntity frameworkNUnitLINQLucene indexes such ElasticSearch or SOLRSpring acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
