Job Description

Lead SDETSalary - up to £110k + Bonus + BensA global FinTech, working in the financial analytis space, are seeking a Lead SDET to oversee testing resources and procedures for their highly scalable analytics platform.This is a hands-on technical position where the Lead SDET will be heavily involved in the design and coding of the automation framework and testing strategies. Hands-on Java coding experience is required!We are offering the Lead SDET:

  • responsibility ensuring the appropriate and efficient testing strategies are applied (Selenium Webdriver, JUnit, JMeter etc)
  • a hands-on position participating in code reviews, test execution, issue indentification and test planning
  • management responsibilities including mentoring/coaching, performance reviews and hiring/building the team
As the Lead SDET, you will drive continual improvement for the team, working in an agile fashion.The Lead SDET will get exposure to a modern tech stack, working within a Core Java environment. All systems are built on top of a Microservice architecture, utilising Docker and Kubernetes. Due to the amount of data involved, the Lead SDET will also getexposure to Big Data technology including Hadoop and Kafka.The company, based in Cannon Street, London, are heavily commited to growing the London office, which acts as their UK and EU headquarters.
