Job Description

LEAD RISK DATA SCIENTISTUP TO £100,000LONDONIm searching for a Lead Risk Data Scientist to join a flourishing start-up insuretech firm. This is your chance to lead an expanding squad of data scientists and data modellers.THE COMPANY:As a Lead Risk Data Scientist, you will be working for a fast-paced company, keen on bringing in a bright, enthusiastic, and experienced person to join their growing business.THE ROLE:As a Lead Risk Data Scientist, you will:

  • Become the product owner of the risk data science team
  • Be responsible for data science development for the company, with access to exclusive data
  • Lead the team in building risk cost models and predictive cost models
  • Use your strong Python, Emblem, and R skills daily
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:The successful Lead Risk Data Scientist will have the following skills and experience:
  • Educated to degree level (minimum) with a 2.1 or better in a numerate subject
  • 3+ years motor risk/cost modelling experience
  • Strong data science background
  • Experience developing models in the Risk or Pricing space is preferred
