We can also offer you support with relocation if you are living outside of London or the UK; subject to terms and conditions.Job DescriptionTo work as a senior member of the radiosurgery team responsible for maintaining and developing the radiosurgery service.This role will require you to work on both CyberKnife and Gamma Knife as required.This is a full time permanent role working 37.5 hrs per week.The salary being offered is competitive and will be dependent upon skills and experience.Job Responsibility

  • Maintain exemplary professional standards and quality assurance in all aspects of patient care.
  • Be responsible for the accurate administration of radiosurgery treatments ensuring accurate documentation of treatments in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • In conjunction with other senior radiographic staff, agree, implement and monitor systems of work, quality assurance procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain effective liaison with all appropriate staff to ensure the provision of a high quality service and a smooth and efficient work flow through the respective department.
  • In conjunction with other health professionals, support and participate in a team approach to problem solving leading to the continued development of the radiosurgery service.
  • Operate radiosurgery equipment in accordance with operational procedures ensuring routine quality assurance procedures are carried out.
  • Ensure all equipment faults and malfunctions are recorded and reported to the Radiosurgery Lead and Principle Physicist.
  • Skills and Experience
  • DCR(T)/BSc (Hons) in Therapeutic Radiography or equivalent
  • HPC registration
  • Extensive post qualification clinical experience
