Location: Fully Remote (UK)Our client is a heavily backed FinTech that has developed a AI/ML platform designed to improve investment decisions.If you were to join, you will be hands-on coding 3+ days a week across the full stack, with the other 2 days spent on driving the architecture for new systems/code and working with Product Owners. You will lead a team of 4 and will work with the CTO to expand the Engineering department into multiple teams next year.In terms of tech stack, you’ll predominantly be working with NodeJS, React, Python, AWS, RDS, Postgres, Git, Docker.Essential requirements:• Extensive full stack experience (depth + breadth) with JavaScript (NodeJS and React).• Strong systems design skills and experience architecting new systems/code.• Strong ability to mentor and lead senior and mid-level JS developers.• Familiarity with Docker and cloud computing e.g. with AWS/GCP/Azure.• Experience with various SQL and NoSQL databases.• Fluency with Git and supporting tools.• Experience using a variety of testing tools (Jest/Cypress/karma/jasmine).• Excellent computer science basics.• Experience working in a fast-growing company.Bonus Skills/Experience• Advanced Visualization/Data visualization experience (e.g. d3.js with WebGL).• Python development skills.• AI/ML experience.• Scaling-out microservice deployments, defining microservice architectures.• FinTech experience.
