*Lead Medical Writer - Global Pharma - 3-month contract - UK, Remote* My client is a Global Pharmaceutical company and they have a position available for a Lead Medical Writer to join their team for an initial 3 - month contract, fully home-based.As the Lead Medical Writer you will prepare regulatory documents for submission to regulatory authorities within subject area (clinical/safety). Working with minimal guidance, the Lead Medical Writer takes accountability for delivering regulatory documents, working effectively and closely with key content owners in the relevant functions. Applying project management expertise and contributing to functional excellence through process management, the Lead Medical Writer also plays a role in guiding other medical writers. In order to apply for the Lead Medical Writer contract, you should possess a scientific degree and have Medical writing experience in the pharmaceutical industry as a clinical/regulatory Medical Writer, i.e., preparation of a wide range of clinical/regulatory documents including Clinical Study Reports, Protocols, Subject Narratives, Investigator Brochures, Regulatory Submission Modules, Safety Reports, and Manuscripts. You should be able to manage coordination responsibilities beyond writing individual documents, e.g., Timelines, reviews and submissions and ideally hold a recognised industry qualification in Medical Writing (such as the professional development qualifications provided by the American and European Medical Writing Associations).
