We are currently working with a leading boutique hedge fund in London who are looking for Lead Java Engineers to help build out a brand-new greenfield platform within the organisations front office.Company This fund has been founded in the last 10 yearsand has had a huge amount of success in several different product areas and are now looking to build out a brand-new equities desk. This new area will be a business-critical area of their organisation which will be directly affecting the companys bottom line.RoleThe role itself is looking Lead Java Engineers who will be responsible for working on a central front office platform that is comprised of microservices and the latest cloud-based technologies. The role will entail working with some of the latest bleeding-edgetechnology in the market right now and have in the last 4 years but a huge investment into the tech they are working with to gain a competitive advantage over their rivals.Requirements Expert levels of experience in Java including deep understanding of Multithreadingand concurrency systems. Experience of working in a distributed, multi-technology, high-volume transaction ecosystem, including OpenShift, Kubernetes, IBM MQ, ActiveMQ, Azure or Google cloud.
