Avanti Recruitment are currently working with one of the most innovated companies in the UK who are well regarded within the commercial application of big data, Data science technologies such as Blockchain and IoT. The company is situated in the heart of London, so is easily accessible with great transport links.The company are looking to take on a Talented Lead Java Developer who has an excellent understanding of Kafka, Microservices, Architecture and Data Patterns. You will also have good amounts of experience with High and Low level design.The company are cloud native and are looking for someone who wants to take on challenges not faced before, someone who can work autonomously and can come up with great design solutions. You will be working in a faced past environment working with all the latest technologies. The company frequently adapts the latest skillsets and is usually ahead of the trend due to the work they are doing.You will be working with a great team, everyone from the CEO down is technical and most hold degrees in computer science or relevant subjects. This role is a remote position however when the office opens then you may be required to go into the office once/twice a month for meetings.Some of the technologies the company use:Java, Scala, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, GraphQL, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Cassandra, AWS, Azure, GCP, Service Mesh.Skillset Required: - Extensive Kafka experience- Excellent Microservices experience (ideally with Service Mesh)- Great Java experience- Experience with gRPC/GraphQL or Istio- You will have leadership/management experienceIf you have any experience with Service Mesh this is a huge bonus.Desirable skills: - AWS/Azure- Kubernetes/Docker- Data Fabric / Virtualisation- Data Stores - ElasticSearch/MongoDB- Scala/GoThe salary on offer for this position is up to £130,000 + Bonus + Flexible working hours + Remote working + Life Insurance + Private healthcare.If you are interested in this position then click Apply Now!
