Job Description

  • Lead the development team and provide technical guidance and mentorship.
  • Develop Java applications using the latest stack (version 17 moving to 18).
  • Work with React on the front end, having an appreciation of front-end technologies.
  • Utilize REST and Gridgrain APIs for seamless integration and communication.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in SQL skills to efficiently manage databases.
  • Possess knowledge of Kafka, although it is not a mandatory requirement.
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps for efficient release cycles
  • Build strong relationships with the release team and users to ensure smooth deployment and user satisfaction.
  • Exhibit strong rapport building with IT risk management to develop quicker and more streamlined processes.
  • Work with a high-tech, cutting-edge tool that incorporates AI and algorithms.
Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience as a Lead Java development
  • Expereince leading a development team
  • Solid understanding of the Java stack (version 17 going into 18) and familiarity with the latest technologies.
  • Proficiency in React or an appreciation of front-end technologies.
  • Previous experience working with REST and Gridgrain APIs.
  • Strong SQL skills for efficient database management.
  • Knowledge of Kafka is a plus, but not essential.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and collaboration with release teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with team members, stakeholders, and users.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and a fast-paced environment.
