Their productsare built to help businesses not only create an immersive and inspiring digital workplace but also to reinforce their unique cultures.They have partnered with leading brands such asFox, AAA, Vertex Pharmaceuticals, DocuSign, Eventbrite, Eurostar, Coursera and Splunk.They are looking for an experienced Lead FrontendEngineer to join their team in the UK to help build and shape the future of their product. Youwill be working closely with cross-functional engineering teams across multiple divisions to help them to deliverawesome software that our customers love. Youll also be helping them to plan out how they decompose out their existing monolithic codebase into micro-frontends whilst also re-platforming their product onto AWS.What youll be doing:
  • You will work with a talented cross-functional team to develop new user-facing features using JavaScript specifically React.
  • Contribute to their shared UI library used by many engineering teams across the whole company.
  • Write automated unit tests and end-to-end tests for your code and services. Quality is incredibly important to us and everybody is responsible for it.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies; regularly and sustainably delivering value in two-week sprints.
  • Work closely with their UI engineers to assist with their React SPA.
  • Help influence the overall architectureand direction of the codebase as well as the wider product.
What experience you will need to apply:
  • You are user-focusedThey solve their customers problems together; everybody has a say in planning, design & execution.
  • 5 years of overall experience with at least 2 years of experience working with React,you should have a solid understanding of how and why ituses a virtual DOM.
  • You love identifying new technologies, patterns, and techniques and planning out how we can apply them to improve productivity, code quality and user experience.
  • Affinity for profiling and analysing code to identify areas for improvement.
  • You understand modern frontend concepts such as component libraries, modular CSS and bundlers.
  • Good understanding of CI/CD, unit testing, and automated end-to-end testing using a framework like Cypress.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of functional programming patterns.
  • Excited by working in a fast-paced startup environment.
