Job Description

Work With Aptitude are looking for a strong Lead Test Analyst who has experience with Workday to join an exciting global business.What youll be doing:

  • Creation of test scenarios and other test artifacts based on approved design documents. Alignment review with process owners, functional/technical leads and the business. Define data requirements for each test scenario.
  • Collaborate closely and align with both functional & technical design and data teams throughout each test phase
  • Participate in the setup and maintenance of the test automation platform
  • Test execution of both manual and automated test types for multiple test phases throughout the programme.
  • Manage all test defects through to resolution for each test phase. Test change requests where needed.
  • Act as test team point of contact for certain test areas
  • Help and support the Test lead to co-ordinate test phases where needed
  • Help the business to execute both functional and technical business testing during business test phases
  • Actively participate in daily defect triage meetings during test phase execution
  • Participate in test entry and exit review milestone meetings
  • Liaise with the business to promote and help communicate the FINS programme test approach
  • Actively report test progress to the respective test lead at each stage, also logging test execution results including defects in the test tracking tool.
  • Train and mentor Junior Test Analysts
What youll need:
  • A test professional with excellent end to end Integration test analyst role experience gathered working on at least two full Workday Projects and Finance global transformations, in a complex, federated organization.
  • Excellent knowledge of Finance transformation testing, with experience of writing both functional and technical test scenarios for multiple test phases -i.e Functional, System Integration test (including Payroll), User Acceptance testing.
  • Strong skills in developing and communicating comprehensive test plans and test approach for multiple test cycles across technology, integrations, data quality and data completeness in partnership with functional, technical, data and 3rd party peers.
  • Experience of successfully delivering testing as part of a technology-enabled change programme with specific emphasis on Finance platform testing on a global scale across multiple waves.
  • Proven track record in developing trusted relationships with key stakeholders in IT and across the wider WPP business, investing time to understand their needs, and helping to breakdown any siloes or resistance to deliver desired business outcomes
  • Excellent experience and demonstrated use of test tracking and defect management tools (i.e. Jira/Zephyr)
  • Experience and knowledge of Automation test tools
