An award winning London FinTech are looking for a Web Development Team Lead to take ownership of a project to design and deliver a cutting edge UI for use by their clients. The system will display huge quantities of financial data and will need to be highly performant while not sacrificing the design/UX.Previous experience leading teams to deliver JavaScript and React UIs is essential as well as an interest in owning delivery of the project and taking on leadership responsibilities including, mentoring, hiring, stakeholder management. Experience building web services in Python or Java is also required, as well as a familiarity with security concerns associated with building web-based applications.The team will work closely with the in house Quant Dev and Strat teams to ensure the correct data is being displayed and prior experience working in finance is advantageous.Key Skills- JavaScript, React, Python, Web Services, OWASP- Team lead or technical lead experience- Experience designing and delivering JS/React UIs- Familiarity with backend development (web services, Django, Flask, JSP, AJAX etc.)
