Who were looking for We are looking for an experienced Lead Designer, ideally with in-house experience, to work with in a team of talented designers. About Schroders Were a global investment manager. The team The Creative Studio sits within our dynamic and award-winning Global Marketing and Communications team, supporting communications across our global offices. The team develop high-level communication, creating work that gets noticed, and achieving results thecompany is proud of. We work across projects that deliver consistent and effective brand communication for Schroders globally; from developing integrated campaigns, creating digital content, leading information design, and developing video content. The teamcontinually raises the bar in everything it does. What youll do This is a pivotal role within the team; working closely with the Creative Lead, you will implement the creative direction and lead on projects to deliver outstanding results that push boundaries and provide engaging and effective assets for the company. You will need to be a strong team player, who can work with a small team of designers to provide creative solutions. You will also work closely with stakeholders and consultants during the creative process and be an effective communicator. As well as overseeing creative projects you will also need to take on a hands-on approach to design - youll need to demonstrate a high level of design skills across a wider range of formats and channels, with a particular focus on digital and video first content. Lead Designer role Deliver high quality creative concepts across a wide range of media Excellent knowledge of brand and communication design Work closely with the Creative Lead to develop creative direction on projects Produce and write presentations for stakeholders The ability to produce creative concepts working within the brand guidelines Work closely with a team of designers to push creative boundaries Provide excellent creative direction and support to the Creative Studio team Provide support and technical guidance to the Creative Studio team Be a brand ambassador ensuring it is applied consistently across all assets. To understand the video process from concepts to delivery Develop excellent working relationships with stakeholders (both internal and external) Brief external agencies The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need Relevant qualification to degree level or equivalent Design industry experience You have experience in successfully leading creative projects Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to create and deliver presentations that articulate ideas in a compelling manner Outstanding design skills with an ability to translate complex information into engaging communication An excellent understanding of digital-first approach, including motion, video, and animation You have excellent interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills. Ability to produce high quality results in tight timeframes Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud - InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects.
