Job Description

LEAD DATA SCIENTIST£100,000 - £120,000HYBRID (LONDON)COMPANYThis companys data team has recently seen a lot of success, and are investing heavily in this area with huge funding. They are using Data Science and Analytics to optimise their operational network to increase the sustainability of their products. Thiscompany is the largest organisation in their field.RESPONSIBILITIESYou will be responsible for:

  • Working extensively on Machine Learning models to optimise processes
  • Driving commercial value with senior stakeholders
  • Working with production-level code, to understand how networks and processes can be analysed from new angles
  • Managing big data and identifying relationships to develop an environmental-centric strategy
  • Communicating these findings to non-technical and technical stakeholders
  • Fully hands-on role within a team of 10
REQUIREMENTSThe ideal candidate must have the following experience:
  • 5 years of Data Science experience
  • Experience using Python and SQL to extract and manipulate data in a commercial environment
  • Ability to translate complex technical analysis into actionable non-technical business recommendations
  • Preferred experience in operations, optimising processes and logistics
  • MSc or PhD in Mathematics or Statistics based course is preferred
  • Must be willing to work in a fast-paced startup environment
