Job Description

LEAD DATA SCIENTISTHYBRID (LONDON)£75,000 - £90,000THE COMPANYThis FinTech company are looking to change the way their customers understand their finances. They are looking to bring in a new Lead Data Scientist to help build ML models and data solutions to transform customer experience.This will be a mostly hands on role to start with and will transition towards a team lead.RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working with a team of data scientists and engineers to build innovative machine learning models and data solutions that will transform our customer experience.
  • Design and develop customer segmentation, recommendation systems, and customer churn prediction models that will help better understand customers and personalise products and services.
  • Use statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to uncover insights and drive business decisions.
  • Work closely with product managers and engineering teams to implement data-driven solutions across our product portfolio.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritise high-impact business opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in a data science or machine learning role, with a track record of delivering impactful solutions.
  • Experience in developing machine learning models for customer segmentation, recommendation systems, and customer churn prediction, with a focus on B2C.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience leading a team of data scientists and engineers is a plus.
