Job Description

Lead Data ScientistLondon£100,000 + BenefitsTHE COMPANYHarnham is working with Proptech start up that is searching for a Lead Data Scientist. The company is small and growing and there are around 300 people within the company, they are looking for someone to work hands-on with projects and develop machine learningmodels across the businessTHE ROLEYou will be:

  • Build, deploy and optimize machine learning models for customers
  • Managing a team of 1
  • Working in a wider team of data scientists
  • Improve existing models
  • Build complex models
  • Work on time series and forecasting modelling
  • Work with clients day to day
  • Collaborate with product, engineering and analytics teams to seek out new opportunities across the business
  • Technical oversight of the team and coaching and mentoring individuals
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEYou must have:
  • An MSc or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence or Mathematics
  • A good understanding of python
  • Mentorship experience
  • Client facing experience
  • Experience in production-level machine learning
  • Strong skills in Python, Spark, Hadoop, Tensorflow, Keras.
  • Forecasting experience and time series is desirable
