Job Description

Lead Data Scientist London Up to £90,000THE COMPANYThe Harnham Data Science is currently working with a huge data-led insurance company, who is highly focused on growth and success, putting full confidence in its employees and providing space for creativity and progression.Theyre looking for a Lead Data Scientist to join their growing data analytics function!THE ROLEAs a Lead Data Scientist, you will be:

  • Leading and building a team of Data Scientists and Actuaries
  • Using machine learning to drive ongoing developments within the business
  • Presenting findings and ideas to senior managers that will influence business decisions
  • Responsible for adding value through the use of models and analytical tools
SKILLS AND EXPERTISETo be considered for this position you must have the following:
  • MSc. degree in a quantitative field e.g. Mathematics and Science
  • Ability to understand pricing models
  • Results-focused, keen to make impacts
  • Strong ability in tools such as Python/R and Emblem
  • Effective communication skills, able to adapt to a range of markets
  • Leadership experience is essential
  • A passion for sharing innovative ideas
