Job Description

About this role:Join Wells Fargo as a Lead Compensation Consultant and become a pivotal force within our dynamic Total Reward team. Youll play a key role in helping to shape our international compensation delivery, with a particular focus on supporting HR, talent acquisition,and the business across EMEA and APAC. Some of the challenges include the year-end process, benchmarking strategy and analysis, and ensuring compliance with our regulators across international. In this role, youll collaborate closely with HR teams and managers, serving as an internal consultant to craft innovative base and incentive compensation programs. Navigate through complex issues, utilising your analytical skills to evaluate tangible and intangiblefactors. Your decisions will help drive initiatives and decision making. Join a team that covers various business aspects, focusing on corporate and investment banking, as well as an array of commercial, control, and support functions. Embrace the opportunity to lead or contribute to projects across an international scope. In this role, you will:

  • Partner with the human resource team and managers as an internal consultant to operationalise, develop base pay and incentive compensation programs, and to resolve complex and sometimes conflicting issues
  • Review and analyse complex, multi-faceted, large scale, and long-term business, operational, or technical challenges that require in depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors
  • Support decision making requiring understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and work across teams to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Lead on or participate in projects at the EMEA and international level in Total Rewards and wider HR.
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience in Compensation, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of excel and ability to manipulate large and often complex data sets is essential
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy, along with a strong appreciation of associated risk management
  • Working knowledge of workday or other Human Capital systems
  • Confident in presenting sometimes complex information to all levels of the business and within HR
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with conflicting priorities
