Job Description

LEAD BI DEVELOPER (CONTRACT)£400 - 450 PER DAY, 3-6 MONTHSREMOTE (WEST LONDON)OUTSIDE IR35One of the leading innovators in the Food & Beverage industry is looking to add a Lead BI Developer to their team to oversee, manage and contribute technically to the implementation of a new BI tool. As they replace their legacy Visualisation system, theyrequire someone with experience of implementing a new tool into the business to ensure a smooth transition.THE COMPANY:This company was one of the original innovators of a Food product-type that has swept the nation over the past few years. As they look to continue to evolve and innovate, they are bringing in new tooling to ensure the business is as data-driven as possible.THE ROLE:As the Lead BI Developer, you will be responsible for managing and enacting the implementation of the companys new BI Visualisation tool, replacing an outgoing legacy system.In specific, you can expect to be involved in the following:

  • Producing logical and physical data model designs for the end-to-end data journey, and ensuring current models are up to standard
  • Working with Data Engineers & Project Managers to ensure the right data is being ingested into the new tool for visualisation
  • Leading the implementation of the new Visualisation tool across all areas of the business, ensuring a smooth transition from the legacy system
  • Offering training and development to ensure the business can effectively access their data through the new tool
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:The successful Lead BI Developer will have the following skills and experience:
  • Strong demonstrable experience of having implemented a new BI tool into a business
  • Strong hands-on experience developing Data Models
  • A successful history working with stakeholders across the business and with technical teams
  • Commercial experience working with SQL and at least 1 Visualisation tool
