Every employee receives an annual training budget which can be spent on conferences, courses, books and certifications, with allotted training days so that they have the time to perfect what they have learnt. The team are very passionate and regularly contribute to open source, attend/host meet ups and have a culture of collaboration to solve complex challenges.They are looking for a talented Lead Android Engineers who have a strong focus on code quality and those want to build software using best practices such as TDD/BDD. You will get the chance to guide and mentor colleagues in projects and internal initiatives, while helping clients understand what they really need, then build quality systems accordingly. In terms of stack they are not wedded to any language or framework and aim to use best of breed technologies, but for the most part their mobile teams work with: Android, Kotlin, Java, Dagger, Java, Angular, JS, HTML, CSS, Cordova, Jasmine, Karma and they do encourage (but do not force) people to exercise their polyglot skills.Role requirements:• 4+ years’ experience in Mobile Development• 2+ years experience Leading teams• Experience working with Kotlin or Java• Strong experience working in Agile teams• Strong interest/experience following best practice like TDD/BDD/DDD• Passion for learning new things and staying on the bleeding edge of technology
