Job Description

Team Leader Service Name: MortonLocation: PE10 0NESalary: £10.13Hours: Full time and Part timeBenefits:

  • Ambient Support is a registered UK charity with over 25 years’ experience in providing care and support services for older people, people with a mental health need and people with a learning disability.Our Team Leader’s needs:
  • Experience of supporting adults in a care setting or in the community
  • An awareness and understanding of Learning Disabilities
  • Good communication skills, patience and flexibility
  • An understanding of safeguarding and person-centered support
  • A flexible working patterns
  • An NVQ L3 in Health & Social Care, or relevant qualification
  • Have supervisory/management experience
  • Be highly motivated and be able to work on their own initiative
  • Be well organised
  • Have a passion and enthusiasm for delivering quality services *to vulnerable people
  • A driving license & access to your own vehicle would be a bonus
  • Our Team Leader’s duties will be:
  • To ensure that each individual maintains the lifestyle of their choice by ensuring each person has a person-centred plan which is continually reviewed.
  • To ensure that each individual has the means to express their needs and wishes and that methods of communication are clearly recorded and shared with all members of the team.
  • To ensure that the best interests of each person we support are at the centre of any decisions made about their life, and to work in partnership with them, their advocates, family, friends and significant others.
  • Our Learning Disability services range from residential care homes through to supported living, short breaks, respite and day services. We also help young people, and their families, transition from children’s services to adult support settings.
