Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons, following the National Curriculum guidelines.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel safe, supported, and valued.
  • Foster a love of learning, encouraging independent thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Promote positive behaviour management strategies, ensuring the classroom environment is conducive to learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable targets.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create cross-curricular links and deliver a cohesive learning experience.
  • Develop strong relationships with parents/carers, fostering open communication and partnership in student development.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience in Key Stage 2.
  • Passion for promoting healthy relationships and respect amongst students.
  • Dedication to supporting students physical and mental health and wellbeing.
  • Proven ability to foster resilience and a growth mindset within learners.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Commitment to professional development and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
