You will have guidance from the senior leadership and SEND department to help guide you and give you CPD trainingso youre able to get the best from your student WHAT WOULD A TEACHING ASSISTANT BE DOINGYou will be working alongside the classroom teacher, assisting them with daily activities and lesson planning. The chosen candidate will be doing 1:1 and general group work with the pupils, having knowledge of KS1 UK Curriculum is a bonus as you will be workingwith Year 1sTHE TEACHING ASSISTANT WILL NEEDPrevious experience is needed for this role. You will need to be fully confident in how you speak and have the ability to give instructions with authority and empathy. You will be positive and have a bubbly personality as well as Knowledge on the KS1 UK curriculumto be considered. Being knowledgeable in good forms of behavior management strategies that you can implement would be a bonus.
