Job Description

KS1 SEN TALocation: HammersmithJob type: Full-time, long-term temporary positionHours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4pm Start date: ASAPEnd date: July 2023Pay rate: £75 - £80 per dayTradewind have an exciting opportunity for a KS1 SEN TA to work in a fantastic 1 form entry primary school judged to be "OUTSTANDING" in their latest Ofsted inspection.This school are well-equipped to support those aspiring to progress in Education and have a highly supportive SLT. With an excellent reputation, and a real sense of community, this school is brilliant place to work.About the role:

  • Support a pupil in a Year 1 class on a 1:1 basis
  • Child is diagnosed with Autism and has some learning difficulties
  • Lead interventions and support small groups
  • Create stimulating learning resources to encourage academic progress
Requirements:
  • Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant is ideal but not essential
  • Initiative and a pro-active approach
  • Bachelors degree is ideal but not essential
  • Must be available Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK
