KS1 Graduate TA- Islington, Central London Primary•KS1 Graduate Teaching Assistant- with experience with students with Autism •Islington- Central London Primary •£60-£80 per day- based on experience •Long term, full time position as a Graduate TA•15-minute bus ride or 20- minute walk from the nearest station•January Start – End of the school yearYour role as a KS1 Graduate Teaching Assistant would consist of;•Providing a creative approach to supporting a students in yr1 •Share ideas of creative activities to engage lower attaining or SEN pupils •Offer extracurricular- Dance, Drama or Music clubs •Build bonds with staff & students and their families •Liaising with the class teacher to support student’s educational development•Implementing your knowledge of the children to support progress•Lead focus groups for Literacy, Reading, writing and Numeracy •Work as a team to effectively deliver the schools ethos •Be committed to the school and your role as a KS1 Graduate Teaching AssistantThe schoolThis inspirational, friendly and happy ‘Good’ Ofsted rated primary is found in a close-knit part of Islington, Central London and are seeking to appoint a KS1 Graduate Teaching Assistant to joint their enthusiastic and forward thinking dedicated team. Previous experience supporting teaching and learning across KS1 would be ideal but not essential. A driven and confident KS1 Teaching Assistant eager to take on extra responsibility and teach Literacy and Numeracy interventions as well as guided reading and handwriting is desired.
