Job Description

Knowledge Assistant - Knowledge & Solutions, Extranet, eLearning, AI, Client Systems, HighQ CollaborateOur leading International law firm client are looking to recruit a Knowledge Assistant (Knowledge & Solutions, Extranet, eLearning, AI, Client Systems, HighQ Collaborate) to be responsible for the promotion, support and further development of legal tech tools (primarily the firms client extranet platform, AI contract review tool, and client eLearning) and internal knowledge systems (including the intranet and the firm’s internal knowhow system, Solutions Lab) and knowledge sharing initiatives.As the firms Knowledge Assistant you will report to the Knowledge Manager, this position involves liaison with system users within the firm across all offices and on occasion with clients. Excellent interpersonal skills are vital. The creation and maintenance of portals for client use necessitates that all work must be carried out to the highest standard and in a timely manner.The main duties and responsibilities for the role are as follows:

  • Work with the Knowledge team to ensure all enquiries on client systems are acknowledged promptly, managing end user expectations and prioritising work accordingly
  • Provide day-to-day support and training for end users and administrators across the firm, working as part of a team to act as first line support for all technical and content queries, and managing requests for all new Access sites, intranet and Solutions Lab pages
  • Day-to-day support for users of the firms intranet, helping page owners to maintain their content to agreed standards and all users to exploit the functions within the system to the maximum.
  • Update systems training materials and guides (internal and client-facing, including video) to ensure users can use knowledge systems effectively.
  • Supporting the team’s Knowledge Development lawyer on the firm’s in-house knowhow system, Solutions Lab, adding new materials and training up end users and other administrators on the system.
  • Day-to-day support for the firms AI platform and also client eLearning courses, including adding new users, arranging permissions, and trouble-shooting.
  • Desirable experience required for this Knowledge Assistant (Knowledge & Solutions, Extranet, eLearning, AI, Client Systems, HighQ Collaborate) are:
  • Familiar with HighQ Collaborate
  • 12-24 months plus experience of commercial environment - preferably within a law firm
  • Website administration experience (e.g. Intranet/Extranet/Internet site)
