Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, passionate, results-driven and hungry Key Account Director to join a global brand in helping to deliver Europes largest education technology (EdTech) event which takes place in London.This is a hybrid role that will involve increasing short and long-term revenue through building & managing global key accounts and driving the key account relationship through understanding the clients business and objectives, developing and managing theimplementation of strategy, particularly in relation to revenue growth, client service excellence and product development.As a Key Account Director of this EdTech event, you will be someone who can marry both the strategic consultancy mindset in terms of future opportunity and growth and the incisive commercial acumen necessary to work with major accounts and senior stakeholders.Additionally, you will be an experienced and sophisticated sales professional who can engage with senior leaders who can readily comprehend their objectives and challenges and have the innate ability and experience to create high-value solutions within thislucrative EdTech marketplace.Key Skills

  • Ability to demonstrate working with large multinational corporations.
  • Proven experience and knowledge of the technology industry leading to a strong understanding of tech ecosystems and business models.
  • Track record developing and delivering strategic account plans.
  • Experience analysing and reporting client ROI.
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders: including collaborating with, influencing, and presenting to C-suite clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience developing new business in diverse geographies including Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
  • Developing, selling, and delivering complex, high-value deals: multi-show, multi-product deals worth over £400k.
  • Proven track record in growing account revenues and margins.
  • Working knowledge of innovation and product development.
  • Coordinating complex projects across multiple functions and products.
  • Experience managing people, directly and indirectly.
  • Confidence in leading workshops (internal and client-facing) and being an integral part of the innovation process.
Additional Information:
  • This is not a people management role! To be considered for this unique Directorship opportunity you must have at least 2 to 5 years of B2B Conference Sponsorship sales experience and can ideally also start imminently.
  • This is a hybrid role and is predominately WFH based.
  • Ultra-competitive basic salary up to £75,000 will be dependent on experience in addition to a very competitive/uncapped commission structure.
