Junior Womenswear DesignerUp to £23,000paCentral LondonA fashion-forward womenswear supplier based in Central London is currently recruiting for a Junior Womenswear Designer with a passion for outerwear to join its established design team.As a Junior Womenswear Designer you will be responsible for creating on-trend womens outerwear designs keeping inline with their customers brief. You will work closely with the Garment Tech and production team along with the sales team to attend design anddevelopment meetings with high street retail buyers. Attending inspirational trips, comp shops and fashion events when necessary.The ideal applicant must have previous multi-product womenswear or Outerwear Design experience working for a high street retailer or fashion supplier at a similar level. You must have strong research and trend awareness skills, demonstrating exceptional experiencedesigning on-trend yet commercial outerwear designs. You must have previous experience working with Far East factories with a good knowledge of garment construction and managing the development process. It is essential you have excellent CAD and I.T skillsusing Microsoft Office and Adobe programs along with strong communication (verbal & written) and presentation skills.
