Job Description

A leading globally operating fund management business is seeking a Junior Performance Analyst to join their growing team. The Risk & Performance team provides services to a wide range of clients across the EMEA region,The ideal candidate would be a self-motivated team player with a few years’ experience in a similar role.The candidate must be able to priortise individual and team work loads and deliver high quality, accurate work to meet standards required by internal and external parties.Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Attribution & performance reports to business stake holders: Portfolio Managers, Sales and Marketing and Client services across all regional offices.
  • Being able to read, understand and interpret valuation reports, as well as other transactions which may affect performance, i.e. corporate actions.
  • Preparation of meeting materials for a number of committees.
  • Calculate and report statistical measures of dispersion & ex-post risk analysis.
  • Ability to keep to a deadline
  • Ability to deal with third parties.
    • The role requires:
  • Understanding of Buy-side Asset Management, basics of Bond & Equity
  • Understanding entry level marketing operations.
  • Understanding entry level Portfolio Administration Operations.
  • Strong numerical background
  • Passion and knowledge of global capital markets
  • Attention to detail essential with excellent organisation ability
  • Good people/communication skills
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
  • Advanced excel (VBA preferred) & PowerPoint.
  • Enthusiastic and motivated team player
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities
  • Embrace and be adaptable to changing environments.
  • Competency with learning new systems, as well as working with in-house spreadsheets.
