The contract is for an initial 24-month period and alongside extensivetraining you will be supported by your manager (The Operations Executive) to complete a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.The Ipsos MORI Trends and Futures team will help you develop your administration career in a nurturing and friendly environment. The team has a professional, creative and informal working culture where colleagues are supported and their successes are celebrated.They will invest their time in you and youll benefit from working alongside their operations and foresight experts.ROLE DESCRIPTIONThe role of the Junior Operations Apprentice is very important to the future success of the team. You will join a team of ten and support them by ensuring the smooth running of all administrative tasks for successful outcomes.Your responsibilities will include: Taking notes and actions from team meetings Team diary management - e.g. ensuring the team holiday planner is up to date, booking and re-organising meetings as they come in, scheduling project reviews, team socials, etc. Assisting with the planning and delivery of the onboarding process for new joiners, including inductions and training Providing administrative support at workshops such as printing, minute-taking, venue organisation, liaising with receptionists/event planners, ordering refreshments, booking travel and accommodation and more Assisting on basic finance operations such as ensuring project finances and dates are up to date in the systems Monitoring group mailboxes and responding to requests and queries, with support from your manager and the team when neededYour role will also include ad-hoc administration tasks on an as-and-when needed basis. Through this role youll have opportunities to develop new technical skills as well as softer skills such as teamwork, communication, adapting to deadlines and problemsolving.There may be travel around the UK involved in the role.KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCEThe Ipsos MORI Trends and Futures Team are looking for someone with great communication and organisational skills and a hunger to learn and develop.
