Job Description

Junior Lender Relationship Manager - London This opportunity would suit an experienced Mortgage Broker who has built strong working relationships with lenders (Private and High Street banks) whilst advising a multitude of clients including the HNW.Having been established for over 100 years, our client is a prestigious brand that helps finance private and commercial property transactions globally.Due to year-on-year profitability, they have implemented an exciting strategy to grow their established financial services team in the UK.We are in search for a well-presented, driven, and ambitious individual that is seeking to grow their career as a Relationship Manager working closely with the Managing Partner.Responsibilities:(Please get in touch for more information)

  • Work with Managing Partner on overall lender strategy
  • Continual improvement in knowledge of all lending practices for the brokers
  • Develop relationships with High Street Lenders, BDMs, and Private Bank contacts from target lists
  • Be the first point of contact for Lender BDMs, both High Street and Private Banks, arranging office visits in keeping with Managing Partners and brokers requirements
  • Distribute all lender information regarding new rates and rate withdrawals in a timely fashion
  • Store all lender emails and updates easily accessible on the G Drive.
  • Advise team of Lender visits for each week
  • Contact new lenders and attend initial meetings, ensuring all action points are implemented. Introduce Managing Partner as required.
  • Take effective notes from lender meetings so that consultants are all aware of the individual firms lending appetite, indicative terms, and criteria, contact details and procedures.
  • Source feedback from the brokers and have accurate lending figures prepared before each lender review meeting.
  • Maintain an organised record of all banking agreements including AUM arrangements
  • Ensure all new banks are due diligence checked by compliance.
  • Liaise with Managing Partner to organise and attend lender events, lunches, and presentations for the team.
  • Write up daily Swaps and LIBOR rates.
