Junior Java Engineer - Trading SoftwareLocation: Central London. Hybrid working policy. 2-3 days in office p/weekSalary: £50,000 - £60,000 + bonus + benefitsA Central London Financial Services company, who are a disrupting the FX space by creating a trading platform connecting major banks, are looking for a Junior Java Engineer to join them on their mission to build an industry leading, high-available platformthat consumes over 5 billion messages every day.They are looking for a Junior Java Engineer (Trading Software) with the following:

  • Computer Science (or similar) degree from a top university
  • Junior-level Java development experience
  • Keen to work on smaller projects with Rust, Golang and Kotlin (previous experience not necessary)
  • An advocate for modern methodologies including TDD and CD
Tech: Java, Multithreading, Distributed Systems, Docker, Kubernetes, TDD, CI/CD, AgileThe role will suit a Junior Java Engineer who is keen to get into the trading industry and who has a strong enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced, financial environment.
