Job Description

We are working with a client based around the Kensington, London area that specialise in bespoke kitchens and furniture for private clients and design professionals. Our client is looking to expand their team and bring on a new Junior Interior Designer /Design Assistant. This is a fantastic role with a consistently growing team that offer progression and career development.The successful Junior Interior Designer / Design Assistant will be responsible for assisting the design team with drafting and specifying designs, order placing, supplier procurement, attend site meetings and surveys, assist and prepare the design team withmeetings as well as meet with suppliers in the showroom. In addition to this the Junior Interior Designer / Design Assistant will be responsible for maintaining the showroom, work closely with clients and answer any queries and questions they may have as wellas prepare for meetings. Our clients require Junior Interior Designer / Design Assistants to manage relationships with clients, ensuring all projects are completed within budget and on time.It is also essential for the successful Junior Interior Designer / Design Assistant to have an excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp and Microsoft Office.Junior Interior Designer / Design Assistant Position Overview

  • Assist and design luxury kitchen developments
  • Maintaining the showroom to a high standard
  • Answer any questions / queries clients may have
  • Produce detailed samples and plans for set projects
  • Prepare and present meetings
  • Work closely with high profile clients
  • Prepare and produce drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp
  • Assist projects from concept through to completion
Junior Interior Designer / Design Assistant Position Requirements
  • Living in or around the Kensington, London area
  • Highly motivated with an excellent work ethic
  • Good knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp and Microsoft Office
  • Great time management skills
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Relevant Degree Qualified
Junior Interior Designer / Design Assistant Position Remuneration
  • Salary; £22,000 - £28,000 (Dependant On Experience)
