Job Description

Our client, a reputable South Korean bank is hiring a Junior Fixed Income Trader (Korean Speaking) to work for their London branch.Duties and responsibilities:A fixed income trader performs market research, analyzes market conditions and searches for potential investment opportunities. They are responsible for managing securities portfolio P/L to ensure timely and appropriate execution of trades in compliancewith regulatory policies.

  • Market research and searching for potential investments
  • Issuer credit analysis and preparation of trade documents
  • Securities Portfolio P/L management

  • Sound knowledge of financial products, accounting principles, capital markets and practices
  • High degree of numeracy, an analytical approach to tasks and problem solving skills are essential
  • Ability to understand complex data and condense into key themes
  • Ability to use various IT tools such as financial and administrative, word processing, spreadsheet and database software
  • Excellent interpersonal skill
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Korean and English
  • Firm grasp of financial, documentation and administration procedures
Qualification and other requirements
  • Minimum Education Level: Bachelors Degree
