Job Description

What will the role include

  • Manage/support the execution of onsite content, campaigns and trading activity
  • Work closely with marketing and CRM to ensure content and messaging is on brand and aligned across all channels
  • Provide robust reporting and analysis to support decision making both within the immediate team and the wider team e.g. marketing, buying teams
  • Identify opportunities to improve onsite conversion and trading performance through analysis of customer onsite behaviour, with data from Google Analytics and Contentsquare (UX Analytics)
  • Trade the site to ensure product/category performance is maximised, using dynamic sorting rules, optimising search results and product recommendations
  • Work closely with the digital change team to constantly improve conversion. Suggest UX improvements based on competitor research and industry best practice
  • Build effective working relationships and actively participate in internal and external meetings
  • What will your responsibilities beTrading
  • Ownership of a product area, and support across all categories where required
  • Working closely with Ecommerce Assistant to ensure product launches happen on time and products are assigned to all appropriate listing pages
  • Using dynamic sorting rules to maximise product revenue & conversion rates
  • Manual merchandising of relevant categories e.g. edits, gift guides
  • Maximise cross selling opportunities through product recommendations, continual review of performance and placement
  • Review product performance and availability and request additional stock from Merchandising if required
  • Ensuring all promotional/sale activity is set up accurately and tested ahead of launch
  • Reporting & Analysis
  • Weekly trade reporting including category performance, content and recommendations analysis, A/B test results
  • Monitor onsite customer behaviour and propose actions to improve conversion and reduce bounce rates
  • Providing ad hoc analysis as required to support internal teams e.g. marketing, buying
  • Continually review product performance and propose actions to maintain momentum of bestsellers and improve slow sellers
  • Onsite Content
  • Working closely with the trading and marketing teams to plan the homepage and landing page content, providing analysis to ensure commercial balance
  • Briefing content requirements to the creative team and managing/supporting content upload and updates (creative, T&Cs, store hours)
  • Monitoring performance of onsite content vs benchmark data and proposing changes to maximise revenue and profit
  • Suggest and implement A/B testing of onsite content to optimise customer experience, utilising personalisation and UX analytics tools
  • Work with digital marketing agency to ensure all onsite copy is optimised for SEO and seasonally relevant
  • Onsite UX
  • Working closely with trading team and digital change team to influence the development/testing roadmap
  • Regular review of competitor activity to propose UX improvements/tests
  • Ability to recognise UX changes likely to yield the best return and prioritise the implementation/testing of these accordingly
  • Utilise personalisation/optimisation tool to enhance user experience
  • Support with UAT of new onsite features/capabilities as and when required
  • Other
  • Troubleshooting website/pricing/customer issues and liaising with appropriate teams to resolve issues and provide feedback in a timely manner
  • Support wider team where appropriate, e.g. channel landing page testing
  • Keep up to date with industry best practices and new platform features to ensure we’re getting the most from the information/tools available
  • Mentoring of junior team members and sharing of knowledge/experience across the team
  • What are we looking for
  • A strong commercial mindset and customer first approach
  • Excellent data and analytics skills, with confident use of Excel
  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud preferable
  • Experience using Google Analytics, Contentsquare and/or Dynamic Yield desirable
  • Highly organised with ability to prioritise workload effectively
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced business
  • A passion for fashion/retail and drive to grow
  • Proactive and positive approach to problem solving
  • Team player with excellent communication skills both internally and externally
