Job Description

Are you a graduate/junior designer looking to join a luxury travel operator Are you an enthusiastic individual who want the opportunity to work on a global brand across a range of campaignsWe have a fantastic new hybrid role available based in South West London that could be perfect for youThe Role: Seeking a graduate/junior designer to join the in-house team, working within a small design team alongside a busy marketing department. This is an incredible opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to work on a global brand across a range of campaigns.This varied role involves a mixture of online and offline projects, and the successful candidate will be expected to work on an array of activity such as flyers, brochures, magazine and newspaper advertising, emails, social media assets, display bannersand video content.Responsibilities: Working alongside the marketing department, key role responsibilities include:

  • National Press Advertising - populating classified advertising templates with campaign messaging, commercial offers, and tactical pricing
  • Magazine Adverts - resizing and updating B2C brand-led creative, uploading artwork to ad-sending portals in a timely manner, adhering to hard copy deadlines
  • Trade Campaigns - producing artwork from brief/concept stages to print ready files and digital specifications
  • Digital - working with the online team on the creation of display web banners using Google Web Designer, and updating email templates with campaign creative
  • Website - assisting in the creation of landing pages for the UK sites
  • Social Media - creating regular social posts, including static banners and video assets
  • Working within strict brand guidelines and producing work correct to brief
  • Ensuring accurate art working and colour correction abilities for both print and online
  • Creation of internal resources - eg: Business Cards, Office Stationery, Certificates etc.
  • Production of trade materials to assist the sales team such as flyers, direct mail, educational material and point of sale
  • Assisting the Mid-Weight Designer and Design Manager with ad hoc projects often to tight deadlines
  • Responsible for managing your own timeline and prioritising work according to deadline
Skills:Essential technical skills:
  • A relevant design related degree
  • MAC literate (OSX)
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • InDesign
  • Photoshop
  • Illustrator
  • Acrobat
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to understand technical specifications and create accurate print/web ready documents
Essential personal skills
  • The successful candidate must possess creativity, ambition, an eye for detail, a can-do attitude and a willingness to be flexible and work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage own workload, as well as being aware of the rest of the team
  • Good communicator - creatively, written and verbally
  • Confidence and ability to build strong relationships within the team
