Job Description

Our client, a global music company, is seeking a Junior Data/Social Media Analyst to join their Social Media team. The successful candidate will possess proven knowledge and experience of social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Snapchat and TikTok.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Improving efficiency of reporting, programming, and production through the development of new tools and processes with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Using the social reporting dashboard to collate view and engagement data for video content from a range of social platforms.
  • Maintaining Google Sheets programming schedule.
  • Using data to discover social trends that will inform innovative programming decisions.
  • Reporting back and analysing financial data to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Building and managing biddable media campaigns within demand side platforms across partners (TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube) with senior heads in the department.
  • Monitoring pacing and delivery to ensure campaigns remain within budget allocations.
  • Communicating any issues with campaign to relevant colleagues and sharing media metrics and experience in a concise way.
  • Extracting insights from each tech stack using all supplier reporting platforms.
  • Offering detailed analysis of campaigns when required through data insights and results.
  • Optimising digital operations and performance through collaboration across data, media, analytics and technology as well as external agencies and vendors.
  • Requirements:
  • Proven track record working on a digital marketing/analytics team.
  • Understanding of digital data management and advertising technologies.
  • Experience with digital media buying, planning, campaign execution and reporting.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
  • SQL basic knowledge.
  • Experience in ad operations and trafficking campaigns.
  • Exposure to media planning.
  • Experience with data visualisation tolls and web-based dashboards.
  • Analytical and detail orientated approach.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the main social media platforms of today.
