Junior Data EngineerSQLLondon Are you looking for an opportunity to develop your Data Engineering skillset within a leading challenger bankTHE COMPANYThe company are a challenger bank who provide simple and effective savings products to over 100,000 customers across the UK. The bank are at the cusp of their data transformation journey and are looking for Junior Data Engineer in order to help contribute tothe data function within the business.THE ROLEThe role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside an experienced Data Engineer and further develop your engineering skills. You will primarily be responsible for improving efficiencies and automating data flows. As well as this, you can expect to be involvedin the following:* Supporting the Data Engineer in the migration to Azure Cloud.* Building ETL pipelines.* Rewriting Oracle SQL into Azure SQL.* Collaborate with other teams to inform best practice.YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEThe successful Data Engineer will have the following skills and experience:* Extensive SQL experience.* Any exposure to Power BI (or similar) would be beneficial * STEM degree.* Strong attention to detail.* Good problem solving and reasoning skills.* An interest in developing your analytical skillset.THE BENEFITSThe successful Data Engineer will receive a salary of up to £45,000 plus access to a market-leading benefits package.HOW TO APPLYPlease register your interest by sending your CV to Madeleine McKechnie via the Apply link on this page.
