Ideally, candidates should be based within 45 minutes of our headquarters,or willing to relocate.About the roleThe Foxtons Property Management and Lettings Support department provides a variety of services for landlords and tenants. One such service is Credit Control and Rent Collection which ensures that where a landlord has instructed Foxtons to collect rent fromtheir tenant that we are receiving the funds and querying when they are not paid. We are hiring a junior Credit Controller to support the team and progress within the department thanks to our full Credit Control training programme.Core responsibilities of the role:

  • Contacting tenants at set, regular intervals by any and all means available (telephone, email, text) who have not paid their rent to determine the issue and obtain payment
  • Ensure intervals are hit to ensure any court proceedings would be successful
  • When required, attend court proceeding to provide evidence in cases where a tenant is being evicted for rent arrears
  • Advise landlords of rent arrears and keep them informed until payment received
  • Provide landlords with clear explanation of procedures, timings, and available options
About youAs a Credit Controller, you will have excellent communication skills, a professional telephone manner, and brilliant attention to detail. We are also looking for someone who is enthusiastic and self-motivated. All property and credit control training willbe provided.We offer
