Job Description

Start Date: January 2022 (subject to DBS beingreturned) Pay: £5 per hour / £7101 annually (pro rata)The Stour Academy Trust are looking for a JuniorContent Producer (Apprentice) reporting to the Director of Marketing andCommunications. This is a fantasticopportunity to complete a Junior ContentProducer apprenticeship whilst undertaking paid employment in a small marketingteam for a Multi Academy Trust of Primary Schools in Kent. The successfulcandidate will gain valuable on the job experience working witha variety ofdigital media in the education setting, working alongside children, schoolstaff and senior leaders. The candidate will benefit from working in afriendly, good-humoured office with the additional benefit of having the schoolholidays The post holderwill be working in a fast-pacedenvironment and will work closely with the DoMaC to increase the awareness ofand strengthen the reputation of all schools in The Stour Academy Trust as wellas ensuring that that all roles in the organisation are able to communicateefficientlyand effectively. The successful candidate must be an excellentcommunicator with the confidence to interact with children of all ages as wellas staff and the Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate should show an interest inand have experience of creatingdigital content in many forms, such as video,photography, graphic design, website CMS and social media. On the job trainingwill be provided for all software and equipment, so most importantly, thesuccessful candidate must have a flair for being creative andan interest inworking with digital technology Essential information Start date: January 2022 Duration: 18 months Working pattern: Term time only working - Mon- Fri, 9am - 4pm with paid 30 min lunch break, 32.5 hours per week Location: Canterbury (base) withtravelling toschools in Swale and Ashford. Working from home one day per week a possibilityfor the right candidate As an apprenticeship position, the successfulcandidate will also complete a nationally recognised Level 3 ApprenticeQualification titled JuniorContent Producer. The apprentice will beallocated 3-4 hours per week of study time which they will take during theirworking hours. The apprenticeship will take 18 months to complete. Candidatesmust meet certain eligibility requirements to enrol onto the apprenticeshipcourse,this will be discussed with the candidate before interview. As a term-time only position in education (195working days) the successful candidate will benefit from having the schoolholidays (roughly 70 days per year) A driving licence is essential as the successfulcandidatewill be expected to travel to the schools in the Trust to capturecontent (e.g. film a video) Our school and all its personnel are committed tosafeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children.
