Job Description

Arboricultural Consultant - LondonMy client, one of Europes leading ecological & arboricultural Consultancy based in London, is seeking a talented Junior Arboricultural Consultant to join the team to support their business activities.The successful Arborist candidate will be friendly, be able to manage their own time and will work with a variety of landowners from domestic scale, through to major infrastructure projects across the South East. This is a home-based opportunity which willinvolve field work across your local area in the South East, with only some office work.The Role:This exciting role offers you the chance to be trained by a supportive and experienced team. You will be carrying out tree surveys and hazard assessments, amongst others. You will complete projects across London and the local area.The successful candidate will be trained to:

  • Undertake Tree Surveys in accordance to BS5837.
  • Deal with Tree Preservation Order issues.
  • Manage on-site implementation of arboricultural works including dealing with contractors.
  • Help with supporting sales activities.
  • Undertake Arboricultural Impact Assessments.
Key Skills:The successful candidate will:- Hold a Level 3 Arboricultural Qualification.- Have excellent tree ident skills and a working knowledge of common pests & diseases.- Hold a Full UK driving licence.- Be based within a 1 hour commute of our Head Office in Rayleigh, Essex.- Have excellent reporting capabilities, with the ability to work to a set deadline.The following would be advantageous:- LANTRA Professional Tree Inspector.Company Benefits:
