REFERENCE: 9952 /18C This is a fantastic opportunity for a high-calibre fund controller or financial controller to take a step up in responsibility and gain exposure to high-level finance and operations responsibilities. The firm is on a growth path with multiple successful deals completed recently across a range of sectors and geographies. Because of this, and their global investor base, there is an emphasis on setting up new investment vehicles and structures in different jurisdictions. You will also have oversight of fund accounting and the finance of the firm, with this being out-sourced. As such this will free you up to assist the deal and IR teams with a range of ad-hoc responsibilities, meaning any day may look different. This role has the potential to grow into a CFO/COO role in the future, with there being plenty of value-add opportunities within the business. This is a rare opportunity to fast-track your fund-finance career. RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversight of fund accounting, drawdowns, distributions etc. Oversight of the carry calculations, waterfalls etc. Supporting the deal team in structuring transactions in multiple jurisdictions Setting up new feeder-style investment vehicles Portfolio management, implement new accounting and portfolio monitoring systems Scope for involvement in IR and supporting the deal team on an ad-hoc basis YOUR PROFILE: Private equity experience is a must-have Qualified accountant Experience setting up structures in different jurisdictions Experience with family offices or HNWI individuals is beneficial due to the firms investor base Ambitious, willing to run with things and learn in the role Strong communicator; not afraid to pick up the phone to investors or service providers
