About the Junior Business Development Manager Role:As the largest communications provider in the UK, our client have an extensive product portfolio including internet connectivity, IP Telephony, 3 routes into the mobility market with BT Mobile, EE, BT One Phone and Security services will all be availableto their customers -you will be trained on how to engage the customer tending their needs and offering their solutions.Your main duties will include speaking to new and existing customers over the telephone, find out what telecom challenges they face and then suggest a solution from their menu of services that will meet their needs. You will receive structured training andcoaching that will enable you to identify sale opportunities and booking appointments for their Desk or Field Sales team members.You will be a core part of their business-to-business sales team, helping them offer better telecoms and data solutions to existing and potential clients.Day-to-Day Duties:
  • Building relationships with existing and potential customers
  • Hitting the targets, the team needs to achieve its goals
  • Generating new appointments for your colleagues in field sales
  • Qualifying potential customers from our data to see if they may need what they can provide
  • Selling product solutions directly over the phone
  • "Landscaping" - recording key information that can be used later i.e. they are coming out of contract in 18 months
  • Using our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Database
  • Reviewing clients accounts to work out the best solution for the customer
  • Learning from more experienced colleagues
