Junior Administration Apprentice (Business Administration), Ipsos MORI, Learning & Development - Tower Hill, London

  • Salary: £20,000

The contract is for an initial 18-month period and alongside extensive training you willbe supported by your manager to complete a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.Training will be through ourselves, national provider Swarm Training, where you will have 20% paid time out for self-study with tutor support.ROLE DESCRIPTIONWorking for Ipsos, this role will sit within their Learning and Development (L&D) team that ensures that they provide high quality, relevant learning and development opportunities to colleagues across the business. They offer training courses for those startingtheir careers to those at senior levels in a variety of job families and specialisms. They deliver training events nearly every day throughout the year to support business needs.As a Junior Administrator Apprentice, youll be working closely with the Head of Learning and Development (L&D) and gain invaluable experience in planning and scheduling the successful delivery of a wide variety and large number of L&D activities acrossthe business. Your focus will be largely on their Generation Ipsos Graduate Development programme, but you will also work across the whole of their L&D offer and operations.KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCEWe are looking for someone with great communication and organisational skills with a hunger to learn and develop. Youll be excited and keen to start your career as a valued member of the team, working towards completing your Level 3 Business Apprenticeship.With a friendly and enthusiastic manner, youll enjoy assisting the team and business with a proactive and customer-focused approach. Youll have a keen interest in task ownership and overall training delivery and execution. Youll develop the skills you needto answer queries confidently and solve problems. Youll also be comfortable asking questions and working with your colleagues in the team to ensure everything runs smoothly.Through support from your manager and the wider L&D team, over the course of your apprenticeship you will:
  • Advance your administrative and organisational skills, supporting the execution and logistics for all of their training, both face-to-face and virtual
  • Plan and schedule all their Generation Ipsos Graduate programme and apprenticeship activities, working closely with the Graduate and Apprentice Manager, their Early Careers team, and their internal and external trainers
  • Build confidence in your professional communication skills by liaising with employees of all levels and acting as the first point of contact for general queries, as well as following up on trainers and attendees on pre-work/post-work for their courses
  • Monitor and analyse course attendance and feedback
  • Work collaboratively within their team and the business - they are well known for being a friendly, helpful, and diverse group of people
  • Work autonomously - they value your opinion and want to hear your suggestions on how to move things forward
