Java Developer / Software Engineer (Remote WFH). Opportunity for a Computer Science technologist to join a scale-up FinTech; take ownership and use the latest technology whilst collaborating with a small team of engineers and finance entrepreneurs. As a Java Developer you will help build the calculation engine and backend services to provide functionality on the core platform such as integrating derivatives valuation models, implementing margin methodologies and building analytics to help clients understandand optimise their costs. Youll work across the full development lifecycle and see the results of your work quickly. Theres a modern technology stack with IaC including AWS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, S3, DynamoDB, KMS and Terraform on the infrastructure side with Java 8, Mavenand Kotlin on the backend and TypeScript, Angular 5 on the front end; youre focus will be on backend core Java development however you will gain exposure to other areas of the stack, particularly AWS.
