Senior Java Developer - Disrupt Investment BankingWe are actively looking for a Java software engineer to join our Investment bank based in central London. You will be joining a team of experienced Java software engineers who have very high standards when it comes to writing efficient clean code. You will be joining a team who are massive advocates of TDD, BDD as well as clean code and being confident with presenting their findings to key stakeholders. The senior Java software engineer will be expected to be a technologist that has it within their skillset to mentor and guide peers when it comes to solving their own problems and for the right candidate this role presents the opportunity for a lot of career development. This is a front office role, so it is essential to be confident in being able to relay your findings and work to key stakeholders within the business as well as external clients.The Ideal Java software engineer will have a history of delivering complex multi-tier architectures and solutions ideally within a front office/financial environment, as well as having dealt with business sponsors to gather requirements as well as business needs and would have implemented their own designs, not only to specification but within agreed time lines also. This role within risk and data management and the ideal Java software engineer will work with multi assets derivative systems with multi location distributed caches. Having experience of working on a trading floor would also be beneficial but not essential.Key skills required:
