Job Description

Java Developer Full Stack - FintechA leading global asset manager are searching for an experienced Full Stack Core Java Developer to develop new ESG rating investment functionality into their flagship Portfolio Management Product. InterestedApply now.Responsibilities:

  • Develop new investment functionality into the flagship Portfolio Management Product used by investors globally to make investment decisions and construct portfolios.
  • Apply quality software engineering practices through all phases of development and into production.
  • Ensure resilience and stability through quality code reviews, unit, regression and user acceptance testing + dev ops
  • Contribute to an agile development team working with UX designers, Architects, Business Analysts, users and Testers.
  • Collaborate with team members in a multi-office, multi-country environment.
Skills:
  • 6+ years commercial/enterprise experience with Java core, full stack
  • Investment Domain knowledge, ideally in Portfolio management or relevant analytics and quantitative experience
  • 3+ years professional experience working with Java Swing, working in an agile / scrum team
  • Test Driven Development - ideally with Cucumber, Azure Dev Ops
  • Ingesting data through APIs, Messaging, SQL
Nice to Have / Desire to learn:
  • Angular, C++, Agile, Equities, Fixed Income, ESG asset class knowledge
  • Designing a good User Experience.
Education:
  • STEM Degree educated ideally in Software Engineering, Computer Science
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to translate real business problems into technical solutions
  • Java Certification
Notes:
  • Bundled Rate per day up to £724
  • Umbrella Rate per day up to £850
  • Inside IR35 paye
  • Hybrid role 3 office days per week
  • Budget approved until September 2023 - possible extension / permanent FTE offer
