Java Developer / Backend Software Engineer *UK Remote WFH*. Would you like to work for a well backed, successful FinTech start-up, take ownership and use the latest technology on Greenfield projects whilst collaborating with a small team of engineers andfinance experts where you can make a real differenceAs a Java Developer you will help build the calculation engine and backend services to provide functionality such as integrating derivatives valuation models, implementing margin methodologies and building analytics to help clients understand and optimise theircosts. Youll work across the full development lifecycle, take ownership and see the results of your work quickly. Theres a modern technology stack with IaC including AWS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, S3, DynamoDB, KMS and Terraform on the infrastructure sidewith Java 8, Maven and Kotlin on the backend and TypeScript, Angular 5 on the front end; youre focus will be on backend core Java development however you will gain exposure to other areas of the stack, particularly AWS.
